Extra Information We had 17 players including one visitor, Russell Strohfeldt; for our final game for 2007 at Southport, one of the best old and established courses on the Gold Coast. The course was in excellent condition as usual and the greens were set at a good speed but some of the placements for the holes were very difficult and often cut into the slopes on the green.
This game at Southport was also for the Captains V Presidents Trophy and this year it was won by The President's Team. Congratulations Charles and his team!!
The next event is the Annual Dinner, to be held at the QCC on Thursday evening 13 December at 7:00 for 7:30. If you were not at the Southport game, then let Charles know if you are coming to the Annual Dinner or not. See you there.
