Extra Information We had 20 players for our Director's Day game at Gainsborough Greens and we played the 5 new holes in the re-development of the course. The greens were medium and sometimes slow and the fairways looked like they hadn't been cut for a few days and the weeds are taking over.
We had 2 visitors for the day and they were Trevor Jones and Bill West.
It was good to see Michael Cowley, one of the Director's of the Qld Cricketers' Club playing a round with us; but doesn't he always win when he plays with us? Thanks for coming and well done Michael.
It is also time for trophy holders from last year to hand in their trophies so they can be prepared; engraved etc for the Annual Dinner and presentation of the trophies to the 2007 winners. The Annual Dinner is to be held at the QCC on Thursday evening 13 December at 7:00 for 7:30. See you there if not at the last 2 games of the year at Virginia (11 November at 7:30am) and at Southport (25 November at 7:30am).
