There were 15 players for our game at the recently refurbished Windaroo to form Windaroo Lakes; and what an
improvement to the course. The last time we played here in 2001, the course was not in very good condition; and Snake Gully
was even more difficult than usual.
Today it looked very good with good clean fairways and great greens. Congratulations to Simon who won by a street of fencing. You didn't need to be that far ahead of the rest of us and you will lose handicap strokes. Our next game is at the also recently refurbished course ($6m) of Palm Meadows and it will be our final game for 2006. I hope everyone comes out for this spectacular course as Lance says it is his favourite; so that must be some recognition of its quality. Also let Charles know if you are able to attend the Annual Presentation Night on Thursday 07 December (7:00pm for 7:30pm) at the QCC.
