There were 10 players including two social players, Margaret & Vickie. The course was in great condition with true, well-cut, small greens and well prepared Kykuyu fairways. The weather was fine and warm so it was fantastic to be on one of the best country golf courses. With Autumn colours in the trees on the course and in the town, the Tenterfield Golf Course was spectacular.

There were again 10 players in the Single Stableford. The weather was not so kind to us on this day as it began to rain when we still had 3 or 4 holes to finish. Some players did not complete their round as it became quite cold.

Breakfasts were eaten together at our motel in the dining room. Each evening we had our dinner together at the Golf Club and enjoyed the occasion with food, drinks and jokes while John looked after our gambling for us. On the return journey on Monday, we all met at The Bramble Patch in Warwick for lunch. Again we had a great time on one of our weekends away playing golf. |
