| Extra Information |
What wonderful weather to be playing golf on both days as there was not a cloud in the sky
for the whole weekend. There were 10 players on the Saturday at Twin Waters but with the recent rain
our carts were restricted to the paths only. This often made for long walks carrying clubs to find
our balls. Twin Waters was in great shape with very fast but true greens. The crows were out in force
and they dined well on lunch supplied by Charles. After another great night at the Nambour RSL for dinner and a good sleep, the breakfast at the Nambour golf club was as big, generous and fulfilling as last year. Again because of the recent wet weather, the course was boggy in the lower parts and we were not able to use carts at all. After trying to get a game at other local clubs without success we decided to try and walk Nambour. Well, it was exhausting but we made it to the end and no-one stopped after 9 holes. The course was in very good condition except for the damp and the greens were true but slower than Twin Waters. The next game is at Gailes on 29 May at 7:00am. | |||
