| Extra Information | What a great day for golf and the course was in good condition
with the greens like lightning again. We had 23 players and everyone seemed to arrive early so we began before our booked starting time which meant that we were able to get in for lunch a little earlier. At the Friday night presentations at the Mullum RSL we ran the auction of the teams which provided lots of money for the Saturday's 4 Person Ambrose competition. We must thank John for the donation of a putter for the putting competition also. | |||

between $90 and $240.
The teams were:
Team 1- Noel Pittard, Simon Hart, Charles Jackson, Kaye Blackburn There were 24 players in the competition who set off in the howling wind that followed the heavy rain of the evening before. Luckily no one was standing under the large gum tree beside the 1st tee as it came down in the high winds. The results for the day showed that the wind was a factor as the nett scores were higher than in previous years.

| Extra Information | We had 21 players for the Single Stableford and one Visitor, Heath Dutton. There were some signs of tiredness showing in the play. Kem couldn't make the start and was left at the motel. (Something to do with the food, I think.) And Jeff was heard singing "Red Red Wine" on leaving the golf course. (Something to do with 'Elvis being in the building' on Saturday night, I think.) | |||

We must thank all our sponsors of the events over the weekend. These were mentioned by the President
to the group on Saturday evening. Everyone seemed to have a great time and it will all be on again next September.
