What a great golf course Gympie turned out to be. It was well prepared and quite difficult with small greens and difficult pin placements. It was, at times, very hard to find where the next tee was as there was quite a walk between green and tee on some holes.

| Extra Information | There were 9 players for the early morning
breakfast at the golf course at 7:30am and golf to start at 8:30am
at Nambour. We spent the evening together at the Nambour RSL as we
stayed at Nambour Motor Inn for the night.
What a great golf course Nambour is too with 2 holes having very high tees and fairways about 40 metres below and it was tremendous to watch the ball fly into the distance above the fairway. Every hole was different with very few being flat and straight. What an interesting course! All members who went away for the weekend and played Gympie and Nambour said that they would never try to walk either of the courses. Nambour is positively mountainous with great slopes down the hill-sides. It was well prepared, green and quite difficult with medium sized greens. From the putting competition, you can see that some great putts were made.
