Winner Noel Pittard = 37 points Runner-up Jim Kemp = 36 points

Long Drives 6th = Mick Whitney - A Grade: (no one) - B Grade

Approach 16th = Noel Pittard

Nearest the Pins 3rd = Noel Pittard; 4th = (no one); 11th = Ross Appleby; 17th = Charles Jackson

Extra Information There were 15 players including 3 Visitors, Mick and Shane Whitney and Ross Appleby. The course was in quite good condition; the greens were true but were very slow as they had been cored and sanded recently. Many of the drains were low on water and some were dry so you could get your ball back if it didn't go too far into the water.
The Assistant to the Sergeant-at-Arms collected money off members who were still holding the Putting Pythons after the 18th.
This game was also called the Presidents V Captains game and the Captain's team won with an average of 33.25 and the President's team score was 26.16. Congratulations to the Captain and his team members!!!!
The next game is the First Round of the Club Championship at Bribie Island and to be eligible you must have played 3 games with the club during the year. The Second Round is at Riverlakes.
All the best of good weather for the 9 club members who are setting off to play several of the best golf courses on the North Island of New Zealand. Hope you have a good time and bring back some photos to prove where you have been.
