Event Second Round of the Match Play and a Single Stableford

Winner of Stableford Kem Cross- 44 points Runner-up Anne Crawford-Nutt- 40 points (on a countback from Jim Kemp)

Long Drives 13th= Lloyd Graham- A Grade(but he put the next one in the lake): Lance Schloman- B Grade

Nearest the Pins 3rd= Peter Wright, 9th= (no one), 12th= Peter Wright, 14th= (no one)

Approach 10th= Jan Blackman

Extra Information There were 28 players with visitors Milos Stillman, Mick Andrews and Col Shannon playing with us.
The course was very wet after the recent rain and we had preferential lies. The fairways hadn't been mowed for quite a while as water was lying everywhere with the greens being good but slow.
There is a general reminder for members to book carts early as sometimes they are very scarce and you may not get one if not pre-booked. Also remember that metal spikes are banned on most courses and should not be used. Soft spikes are the only ones to have.
Our next game is at Pacific on 23rd March at 7:48am. It will be the Third Round of the Match Play.

Our Captain Jim Kemp and his wife Kaye Blackburn will be swanning it up in Greece for the next two games so Brian Dawson will organise the games in their absence. Happy 40th Kaye!!
