There were 23 players and a visitor, Jason Walters who has now joined our club.
As both the winner today and the Runner-up were well under the course rating, they should both
be losing strokes from their handicaps; especially Peter with his nett 61.
The course was in quite good condition with the greens being true and slick. Many members have bought their new shirts and will be wearing them in the game against the Gold Coast Dolphins at Parkwood International for the trophy next Sunday, 2nd June. Shirts only cost $25 and we are hoping that all members will purchase a new shirt and wear it at all games. We must also thank Lance Schloman and his company Astra Panels for sponsorship of our shirts and the logo for the company is on the right sleeve. Remember that we should always support businesses that support us. It is time for all members to select who your partner will be in the Winter Cup which comes up soon. You must select your own partner for the competition over two rounds. | |||
