Extra Information We had 22 players including 1 visitor, Peter Wright.
It was good to see Brian Turner back on the golf course; and he finished the round.
After an early start on a very crisp morning, the day warmed up and the golf scores were very good.
The greens were true but slow and the fairways were well grassed but the trees were again in the middle of the fairway: just ask Graham and Kent.
The yellow markers did help by taking many metres off the distance of the longer holes.
The next game is the Second Round of the Winter Cup and is to be played at Gainsborough Greens on Sunday, 22 July. If you are playing at Gainsborough Greens and you haven't registered yet, phone the Captain, Col Timmins at home on 3273-4617 or at work on 3262-1744.
We are having a bbq in the park at Kangaroo Point at about midday or soon after on 5 August. Bring your family too as we need all full members and associate members of the golf club to come. We need to discuss the falling membership of the club and think about suitable venues for our games for next year. See you at the barbecue- This is important
