Twelve World Class Golfers flew in to Christchurch, New Zealand on Saturday 01 December; the Queensland players were delayed by the airline for several hours arriving about 4:00am and one more golfer from Tasmania; for battle in this prestigious event. A 12 seater Toyota Commuter bus was hired to travel the South Island in search of golf courses to play. This vehicle ran on Monteiffs ale and Chardonnay which was cheaper than petrol.

For 2007 the golfers were:

a. Col Shady, Internet Weather Forecaster and Financial Advisor- "I just have to get on the net and send out my forecasts."
b. Last Minute Donny- I am right on-time as usual; and part-time Lady Killer.
c. Jan the Boarder who stays rent-free; and Colour Co-ordinator.
d. Luge Racer Charles- I have my own golf cap from Canada.
e Ralph the Late Night Starter and Golf Advisor to Newbies.
f. John the Gopher, Breakfast Finder and Bus Driver.
g. Dapper Noel the Golf Pro- "Well who else is on +2"?
h. Brian the Map Reader and White Fox; a dapper gentleman I'm told.
i. Lance the Wine Connoisseur, Gambler and Occasional Social Drinker."Do they have a drinks cart here or do I have to walk to the bar?"
j. Jim the Silver Fox, Chardy Drinker and Wine Taster.
k. Kerri the Part-time Golfer and vast Improver and Part-time Shopette
l. I'm Easy Jeff, I'll be in that. I need a drink.

And there was also one Shopette this year

m. Marina the Tourist.

We travelled the land in our bus while staying at Antonio's Motor Lodge while in Christchurch and the Melbourne Motor Lodge while in Queenstown looking for golf courses to play
